Traditional Indigo Rebozo by Josefina Huipe Morales
This rebozo is a very traditional style from the Meseta, boasting the lovely hues of the indigo Anil plant that is harvested in this region of our continent. The fringe is beautifully tied.
This piece was woven on a back-strap loom by Josefina Huipe Morales, who is a P'urepecha weaver from the village of Ahuiran in the Meseta region of Michoacan.
