Machine Cross-stitched Serape
This piece is part of our Maya Collection. Hand embroidered on loomed cloth, this piece is an exquisite accessory for a dress or skin-tight blouse. They can be dressed-up or dressed-down, depending on what you're wearing it with. Surprisingly warm, these are perfect for fresh weather that isn't cold, but not necessarily warm.

This piece is machine cross-stitched. The machines are exceptionally good at making these look handmade, but when you look at the back, you will see little white threads. These are the back-stitches, which are not changed to match the frontal colours due to labour. Despite this, these are still beautiful pieces that are manually machined. We alwyas have a few pieces in our collection to educate novice collectors on how to decipher the difference, as we see an awful lot of machine-made pieces online that are marketed as handmade.
